Neon Moon Salon Policies

  • Cancellations:

    If you cancel or reschedule 48 to 24 hours before your appointment time, your deposit of 50% of your service will be forfeited. You will be required to put down a new deposit in the event of a cancellation/reschedule at 48 hours or less. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment time, your deposit of 50% of your service will be forfeited and you will be additionally charged for the remaining 50% via the card on file. Cancellations within 24 hours mean a charge of 100% of service. We have a 15 minute grace period for late appointments. Please call 828-357-7481 if you are running late (NO DMs or EMAIL). After 15 minutes late, your appointment is subject to be cancelled & deposit forfeited + card charged for the same day cancellation. This is a boundary to protect our time & the clients that are coming after you. TEXT 828-357-7481 if you need to cancel or reschedule within 48 hours.

  • Lateness:

  • Cancellation list:

    You can add yourself to any of our waitlists on Vagaro by clicking “book appointment.” Select the days that you want to be in contact about & you will automatically be notified by Vagaro if that time opens up.

  • Dry haircuts:

    Please come in with clean, dry, detangled hair. You can have light product in your hair, but we need to be able to easily get a brush through it. Your hair (and bangs) should be down in their natural state. Please don’t have your hair pulled back in a pony or manipulated with clips.

  • No kids please:

    Unless your kiddo is getting a cut, please do not bring your kid/s with you. Our salon has sharp objects & expensive tools. We can't give your hair our full attention when you aren’t able to be fully present.

    If you can't find childcare please let us know prior to 48 hours before to avoid being charged for cancelling.

  • No plus ones:

    Please come to your appointment solo unless you’ve emailed in a request or are getting back to back cuts with someone. We want you to able to fully relax without the distractions of a plus one.

    Plant Bar is a great cafe a few doors down if your friend/family member needs somewhere to pass the time.

  • Refunds & Adjustments:

    We do not offer refunds on haircut services, but are happy to make adjustments on your cut within 2 weeks of when you came in. An adjustment means tweaking the haircut to better fit what was talked about. A change in what was discussed during the haircut or consultation is not considered an adjustment & will need to be booked as a separate service.
